Neeps and Tatties
Ingredients
1kg/2¼lb floury potatoes, peeled and cubed
1kg/2¼lb swede, peeled and cubed
85g/3oz butter
salt and pepper
Directions
1. Put the potatoes and swede into a large pan of salted water.2. Bring to the boil and simmer until tender.3. Drain, season well and mash with the butter until smooth.
