Potato and Pear Rosti with Port Salut
Ingredients
2 potatoes, cooked (twice the weight of the pear)
1 pear, peeled
55g/2oz Port Salut cheese, sliced
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6. Grease four rösti tins with butter and oil.2. Grate the potatoes and pear on the course side of a box grater.3. Mix the potato and pear together and season. Put the mixture into the rösti tins and cook until crisp.4. Place the röstis on a baking sheet, cover them with slices of Port Salut. Place them in the preheated oven to heat up until the cheese begins to melt.5. Remove röstis from the oven and serve.
