Scottish Shepard’s Pie
Ingredients
½ lb chopped cooked beef
1 small onion, cooked and chopped
1 tsp ketchup
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup leftover gravy
2 cups seasoned mashed potato
2 tbsps butter or margarine
cayenne pepper
parsley flakes
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix together meat, onion, ketchup, salt, pepper, and gravy. Place in a greased baking dish. Cover with mashed potatoes. Dot with small pieces of butter. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and decorate with a little parsley. Serve hot. You can substitute cooked white fish.
