Pakistani Potato Vegetable
Ingredients
3 or 4 medium potatoes
1 small onion
1/3 teaspoon Garlic powder
2/3 ginger
1 teaspoon Turmeric
3 tablespoon vegetable oil
salt to taste
Optional:
2 cloves
1 whole cardamom
1 whole bay leaf
Directions
Boil potatoes until tender.
Peel and crush potatoes with a fork.
Chop onion and brown in oil.
Add potatoes, spices and ½ c. water and stir well.
Lower heat and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
