Scallopped Potatoes Ceasar-Style

Ingredients

2 tablespoons [30 mL] butter
1 tablespoon [15 mL] all-purpose flour
2 cups [500 mL] milk
1 pack dry onion soup mix
1/2 cup [125 mL] grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon [5 mL] Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] black pepper
Pinch of garlic powder
4 cups [1 L] peeled potato slices

Directions

Into a large, microwave-safe bowl, melt butter on 'MAXIMUM'.
Stir in flour; microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 30 seconds.
Whip in milk and onion soup mix.
Microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 4 to 6 minutes, until just thickened, stirring twice.
Stir in grated cheese, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and garlic pepper; mix in potato slices.
Cover and microwave, on 'MAXIMUM', stirring twice, for 12 to 16 minutes until potatoes are soft.
