Crunchy Spicy Potato Slices
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups [625 mL] butter or margarine
24 medium-size unpeeled potatoes, cleaned and thinly sliced
6 large onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon pepper
2 tablespoons [30 mL] hot and spicy seasoned salt
3 1/2 cups [875 mL] Mexican salsa
3 cups [750 mL] sour cream
Directions
Into a medium-size casserole, melt butter or margarine.
Add potato slices; well coat slices with melted butter or margarine.
Evenly arrange onion slices into casserole.
Sprinkle with lemon pepper and seasoned salt.
Turn slices often, until golden.
Serve, along with Mexican salsa and sour cream.
