Bacon Wrapped Baked Potato
Ingredients
8 potatoes
8 slices bacon
Directions
Thoroughly wash potatoes. Remove eyes by scratching them out with your thumbnail. Tear off eight strips of aluminum foil wide enough to completely wrap a potato.
Wrap bacon slice around each potato. Place potato on foil. Pick up the four corners of the foil and bring them together then twist so that the potato is snug in the foil but seam is on top. This is important if you wish to keep the bacon grease from dripping onto the base of the oven.
Place potatoes in oven at about 375 degrees. Cook for one to one and a half hours. You may puncture a potato with a fork to check for doneness. Just be careful where you poke it.
