Old MacDonald's Potato Box Recipes 

Gluten-Free Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

4 medium russet potatoes (peeled, sliced)
3/4 teaspoon onion salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1-tablespoon onion flakes
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard (Grind your own mustard seeds with small coffee grinder)
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 tablespoons potato starch or sweet rice flour*
2 cups milk
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter or margarine (small cubes)
Paprika for garnish

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ. Toss potatoes with salt, pepper, and onion flakes in 1 1/2-quart casserole or baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients (except butter) in jar with screw top lid. Shake thoroughly until ingredients are blended. Or, blend in blender until smooth.

2. Pour milk mixture over potatoes. Dot with butter cubes. Lightly sprinkle with paprika. Bake 1 hour or until sauce is bubbly and potatoes are lightly browned.
